When you get your download links and passwords in your email inbox, you will be taken to the new flipbook version of the magazine. Yep at long last the flipbook version is going live. After you have had a good read through in all its flip page glory you can still download your PDF version to keep on your computer from the download button on top of the flip book window.

Cover Bear competiton pulled!

It is with regret that we are having to pull the Cover Bear Competition for the time being. Interest in this has not been very good at all, and a high percentage of the very few entries we received are all copyrighted images from other publications.

We had high hopes for this competition, especially after announcing the fantastic prizes courtesy of the guys at Bear University. But for now it is obviously not the time to run this.

But it WILL return. Colin is currently talking to various companies to expand the prizes, which will include DVD's, subscriptions, free issues, and hopefully the inclusion of the Bear University offer as well. And that is just for starters!

We have been running an online survey, and so far the results are as follows:

83% want more feature guys (17% want less)
71% want more internet galleries (29% want less)
50% want more stories (17% want less, 33% think they are about right)
50% want more reviews (17% want less, 33% think they are about right)
100% want more theme based articles (some fantastic ideas sent in)
100% want to see a bear art section

The survey will be open for some time yet, so if you have not taken part then please do.

Everyone taking part in the survey will automatically be entered into a draw, held on 1st January 2011. And the winner gets a free subscription to the magazine.

Now you can enjoy for free older issues of ALL BEAR in our new digital section. Every 6 months after an issue's initial release, we will add it to ALL BEAR Digital for you to enjoy. A kind of 'try before you buy' if you like!

Issue 1 is available NOW online for your enjoyment. This is the issue that started it all for ALL BEAR... Very much a trial and error, we learnt a lot from putting this issue together. Much of the content was collected from public domain sites and collated together along with all new features.

We've decided to run a competition for all our loyal bears out there!

We're looking for the next BIG THING! A guy who thinks he has what it takes to grace a future cover of ALL BEAR. Take a look at the website www.all-bear.co.uk to see our previous and upcoming covers and get a feel of what we're looking for (sample picture here taken from Issue 4, out August 1st). Bears, Cubs, Daddies and Chubs - all are welcome to enter! And if you think you have the goods, just send us a selection of your favourite pictures - good quality, high resolution pics please, preferably bare chested.

Issue 3 well under way

Work on issue 3 is well ahead of schedule for its 1st June release date. The highlight of the issue has to be the 11 page interview with non other then Boyd Somers. This interview is from the heart, very personal and very hard hitting in parts. It is one not to be missed.

The flipbook version of ALL BEAR is near to completion. The book will run from your PC and the overall look and feel of it takes ALL BEAR to the next level. Their will also be included a free copy of the PDF version in case the flipbook does not run on your set-up.

The flipbook is in the final stages of testing. Hopefully it will also run on MAC

We are pleased to announce that we have just finished an exclusive interview with our featured cover bear, Joe Muscle. Joe very kindly answered all of the questions we asked him, and also provided us with some very nice photographs that he did exclusively just for the magazine.

This is a personal interview for Joe, and he reveals things he has never told anyone before! You really get to know just who Joe Muscle is.

Compression software found

Got some new compression software and the Magazine is coming out at around 10meg mark now, and still looks good. I think you would all prefer 10meg instead of 30 in your inbox :-)

Issue one just around the corner

Issue one is very near it's release date, so we thought it best to let everyone know just what it is you will be getting. The issue is currently running at 40pages, packed full of some of the best images from the Internet, and a few exclusive ones. Also the first of our regular exclusive stories makes its debut this issue.

Each issue will be around 30meg (we are looking into buying some better compression software), so please ensure that your inbox is capable of handling this. We are looking into the possibility of releasing each issue on CD which can be mailed out to you. Each cd will also feature an 'extra feature' but at the moment this is only a possibility.

You will need a paypal account to order the issue, details sent out at time you order the issue. The issue will be emailed out right away (depending on global position - we could be in bed when you order LOL LOL) or the very next day.

Everything made from the magazine is put right back into it, this is a non-profit venture done as a labour of love. Some of the software we need for future issues is quite costly, and we intend on being around a long time, so we want to bring you the best possible looking issues around.

We also want you to get involved. Either as one of our featured bears, or a writer of stories, down to sending a letter, we want you to be a part of the magazine. Let us know what you want to see in the magazine, we will do our best to get it in there.
